The step by step process to update KYC in EPF account online is as below
Step 1
Go to the UAN Member Portal. In the login section, enter your UAN number and password.
Step 2
Enter the Captcha code and click on the “Sign in” tab to proceed further. It will take you to a new page. Select the “Manage” tab on the main menu and click on the “KYC” option in the drop-down menu.
Step 3
Once again it will take you to a new page. Here, EPFO has given a list of eight documents to update the information on UAN EPFO portal. You can select and update any of the documents from the given list.
Step 4
Select your document, provide the document number and correct name as the name appears on the document. You also need to enter the IFSC code of the bank along with the bank account number. After entering the details, click on the “Save” button to proceed.
Step 5
Now your request will go to your employer for approval. Your request will remain in the “Pending KYC” section until it is approved by your employer. You may need to submit a copy of your documents to your employer.
Step 6
Your employer digitally approves your documents. Once approved, now you find your documents in the “Approved KYC” section.
