Cash Deposit/ Payment
The limits for cash transactions under SBI Doorstep Banking are as follows:
Cash pick up (Deposit)
- Only one transaction is allowed per day.
- The maximum cash limit is Rs.20,000 per transaction.
- The minimum cash limit is Rs.1,000 per transaction.
Cash Delivery (Withdrawal)
- Only one transaction is allowed per day.
- The maximum cash limit is Rs.20,000 per transaction.
- The minimum cash limit is Rs.1,000 per transaction.
How will Doorstep Banking SBI service work?
Here is how you can avail the benefits of Doorstep Banking SBI services.
1. To avail this doorstep delivery service, just call toll free number 1800111103 between 9 am to 4 pm on working days from your registered mobile number.
2. Once the call is connected, you shall input the last 4 digits of your savings bank/current account number for which doorstep banking service has been registered.
3. After initial verification, your call shall be forwarded to Contact Centre Agent, who after the second/additional verification, shall record your request.
4. You need to provide the detail of the request and preferred time of service delivery (9 am to 5 pm on working days only).
5. Once your request is accepted, you will get an SMS with Case ID and request type on the registered mobile number.
6. Now your request will be forwarded to the Doorstep Banking Agent who will contact you to fix an appointment.
7. The DSB Agent, at the given time shall visit your registered address. First of all, he will show his credentials (Photo ID card and officially valid document).
8. The DSB agent will also verify your identity through any OVD (Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID Card, Driving License, NREGA Job Card, and Letter from National Population Register).
9. Your service request shall be initiated in the Doorstep Banking web portal in the mobile carried by the DSB Agent. You need to input the Case ID and Verification Code in the web portal to initiate the transaction.
10. You will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number for the completion of the transaction.
