How to request SBI Cheque Book Online
So you are a State bank of India customer and your chequebook has been completed. Just order it online on your smartphone without visiting the State Bank of India branch. You can opt for cheque books with 25, 50 or 100 cheque leaves.
State Bank of India will send your chequebook at your address in a few days by post or courier. You can select to get it delivered at your registered address or you can provide a new alternate address.
You can request a chequebook for any of your Current, Savings, Over Draft and Cash Credit accounts.

SBI Cheque Book apply online through SBI Internet Banking
You can use this option if you have the facility of SBI Net banking. If you have not activated SBI Internet banking facility for your State Bank of India account then activate it online. I have written a post on how to activate SBI Net banking online.
Below is the step by step process to order SBI cheque book online.
1. Visit the SBI Official website (https://www.onlinesbi.com/).
2. Login to the retail section on internet banking using your username and password.
3. Select the “Cheque Book request” link under the “Request & Enquiries” tab.
4. Next page you can see all your transaction accounts.
5. Select your State Bank of India account for which you want a chequebook.
6. Enter the number of cheque books and leaves required and click on the “Submit” tab.
7. Now select your registered address or new address option to receive your chequebook. Then, submit the same.
8. That’s it. You have successfully applied for a new chequebook using SBI netbanking.
9. Your new chequebook will be dispatched to the address registered in the Bank’s records.
SBI Online Cheque Book request using SBI Mobile Banking
You can also apply for a new chequebook using Yono Lite SBI – Mobile Banking.
1. Login to the Yono Lite SBI app using your SBI Internet banking user Id and password. You can also login to the Yono Lite SBI using easy PIN. First-time users need to complete the registration process.
2. After logging in, tap on the “Requests” option.
3. Next page tap on the “Cheque Book” option.
4. Next screen, tap on “Cheque Book Request”.
5. Here select your State Bank of India Account number.
6. Select the number of cheque books and leaves required.
7. Tap on the “Request” tab.
8. This way you have successfully applied for a new chequebook through Yono Lite SBI – Mobile Banking.
9. Your chequebook will be dispatched to the address available in the Bank’s records.
Request Cheque Book SBI through SBI YONO App
You can also order SBI Cheque Book online through SBI YONO App, a digital app from SBI for banking and more. First-time users need to complete the registration process.

1. Login to SBI YONO App using your SBI Internet banking user Id and password. Alternatively, you can also login to YONO SBI App.
2. Now go to “Quick Links” and tap on the “Service Request” option.
3. Here select the “Cheques” option.
4. Next, select the “Request Cheque Book” option.
5. Now select your State Bank of India Account number.
6. Select the number of cheque books and leaves required. Then, submit your request.
7. That’s it. This way you have successfully applied for a new chequebook through SBI YONO App.
8. Your chequebook will be dispatched to the address registered in the Bank’s database.

Final Thoughts
I hope now you can easily apply for a new chequebook online. You will receive your chequebook at your address within 10 days by post or courier. You can check your chequebook history to know about your newly issued chequebook details using net banking.
