How to register for IPPB Mobile Banking Services?
Existing Customers
If you are an existing customer of India Post Payments Bank then you can register for IPPB bank app facility. You can get the benefits of this facility by linking your registered mobile number with your account. Just follow the simple steps given below:
1. Download IPPB App on your phone to activate banking services on the move.
2. Open the app and select the language of your preference. India Post Payments Bank online services are available in English, Hindi, and various regional languages.
3. After selecting the language, tap on the “Login Now” option.
4. Enter details like Account number, Customer Id, Date of birth, and registered mobile number. Tap on the “Register” tab. During the online account opening process, you already received your account number and customer Id on your mobile number.
5. After this, OTP will be sent on your registered mobile number for authentication.
6. Set up the MPIN.
7. Enter the received OTP and click on the “Submit” tab for authentication.
8. This completes the IPPB Mobile Banking registration process completely.
New Customers
Open a Digital Savings Account (DGSBA): If you are a new customer, you can open a digital savings account. The process to open a digital savings account is very easy.
However, you need some prerequisite documents for opening a digital savings account. The documents include PAN, Aadhaar, and phone number.
Follow the following steps to open your digital savings account.
1. Download IPPB Mobile App on your phone to activate banking services on the go.
2. Open the IPPB App. Select the language of your preference. IPPB online services are available in English, Hindi, and various regional languages.
3. After selecting the language, tap on the “Open Your Account Now” option.
4. Here enter your mobile number and PAN number.
5. Next screen enter your Aadhaar number.
6. Specify whether you have an Aadhaar based OTP account with any other bank.
7. After this, OTP will be sent to the provided mobile number for authentication.
8. Enter OTP to complete the account opening process.

I am holding a joint saving account in PO, which I would like to make a digital account in IPPB. When I wanted to convert it, the Post Master said joint account can’t be converted to IPPB.

Hi, Post Office Savings Account can not be converted to IPPB’s Digital Savings Account. Also IPPB’s Digital Savings Account can be opened by an individual only.
