You can generate PIN for HDFC credit card through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) facility. Follow the steps given below
1. First of all, call 18602660333 from your registered mobile number.
2. Key in the last 4 digits of your card.
3. Validate with OTP sent on your registered mobile number.
4. Set 4 digits Personal Identification Number of your choice.
HDFC Credit Card PIN generation online through Net Banking
This option is for existing HDFC Internet banking users. Just login to your account to generate HDFC credit card PIN instantly.
Follow the below steps for HDFC new credit card pin generation online using the HDFC NetBanking facility.
1. First of all, login to your Net Banking account with your customer Id and IPIN (Password).
2. Next, click on the “Cards tab” on the main menu.
3. Now visit the “Request” section on the left-hand side of the screen.
4. Here, choose “InstantPIN Generation” under the “Request” section.
5. Now select the card number.
6. Finally generate 4 digit Personal Identification Number of your choice.
7. After successful completion, the system will display a message that the PIN is generated successfully.
8. Now, you can start using it for online shopping and ATM transactions.
HDFC PIN Generation through Mobile Banking
1. First of all, log in to Mobile Banking.
2. Next, click the “More” option and select “CreditCard Tab”.
3. Now choose “InstantPIN Generation” under the “Request” section.
4. Here select the card number.
5. Finally generate 4 digit Personal Identification Number of your choice.
HDFC Credit Card PIN reset through HDFC Bank ATM
When you receive your new card, you need to visit any nearest HDFC ATM HDFC Card PIN generation.
You can select this option if you have received 6 digit OTP on your registered mobile number or call PhoneBanking to generate OTP (One Time Password).
If you have 6 digit OTP then visit any nearest HDFC ATM and follow the below steps to generate the PIN.
1. First of all, dip your creditcard in the ATM machine.
2. In the first screen, under the language section select “To create a new ATMPIN” option.
3. Next, enter the OTP (One Time Password) received on your mobile number.
4. Now, enter your registered mobile number.
5. Key-in a new 4 digit Personal Identification Number of your choice.
6. Once it is done successfully, you will receive a message that the PIN is generated successfully.
You can call HDFC credit card customer care if you find any difficulty in using it.
How to keep your Credit Card safe?
To ensure the safety of your card, follow the safety tips given below
1. Set a Personal Identification Number which is easy to remember but difficult to guess.
2. Never ever share your card details with anyone. Bank never asks for such details.
3. Never write down it on your card or on a paper. Also, don’t store it on your mobile phone.
4. Set different Personal Identification Number for different cards.
5. Make sure the website is secure where you are making an online transaction.
6. Do not save your card details on any websites.
7. Inform HDFC bank immediately if it is lost or stolen.
