How to change SBI branch online?
The following are the ways for change of SBI branch online:
1. Using SBI Net Banking
2. Via YONO SBI App
3. Through YONO Lite App
To complete the SBI branch change procedure, you need a registered mobile number, a computer or a smartphone, and an internet connection. You also need to have the new branch code to which you wish to transfer your account. Your account will be transferred in a week after you initiate the SBI branch change request online. There are no SBI branch transfer charges.

How to transfer an account via the YONO Lite SBI app?
Assume, you have registered yourself on the YONO Lite SBI app and your mobile number is registered with the bank. Here, you also need to have the new branch code to where you want to transfer your account.
1. First of all, log in to your YONO Lite SBI app on your mobile phone.
2. Tap on the “Services” option.
3. Next, click on the “Transfer of Savings Account” link option.
4. Here, select your savings account number.
5. Next, enter the new branch code, where you want to transfer your account. Now click on the “Get Branch Name” tab. Here, you will see the new branch’s name.
6. If the new branch’s name is correct, then click on the “Submit” button.
7. Next, review all the details of your request and make a final submission.
How to transfer an account through the YONO SBI app?
Assume, you are already registered on the YONO SBI app and your mobile number is registered with the bank. You are also required to enter the new branch code to where you want to transfer your account.
1. First of all, log in to the YONO SBI app on your mobile phone.
2. Click on the three lines menu icon on the top left corner of your phone screen.
3. Tap on the “Services Request” option.
4. Next, click on the “Account” link option.
5. Here, tap on the “Change Home Branch” option.
6. Next, you need to enter the new branch code, where you wish to transfer your account. Here tap on the “Get Branch Name” button. Now you will see the new branch’s name.
7. If the branch name is correct, then tap on the “Submit” tab.
8. Next, you need to review all the details of your request and make a final submission.

How to change SBI branch online?
Assume, your account is enabled with SBI net banking, and your mobile number is registered with the bank. Ok then, just follow these simple steps to transfer your savings bank account from one branch to another. However, you also need to have the branch code to which you want to transfer your account.
1. Visit State Bank of India official website – www.onlinesbi.com
2. Click on the “Personal Banking” option.
3. Log in to your account using your username and password.
4. Once logged into SBI online banking, go to the “e-Services” tab on the main menu. Click on the “More>>” option.
5. Scroll down and click on the “Transfer of savings account” option at the bottom right of the page.
6. Next page, select the account number which you want to transfer.
7. Now, enter the branch code you wish to transfer the account to if you know it already. In case you don’t know the code then use the branch locator to get the name and code.
8. Now, click on “Get Branch Name”. Now your new branch name will be fetched automatically.
9. Next, check the box to accept the “Terms and Condition” and click on the “Submit” button.
10. Next screen, click on the “Confirm” tab.
11. When you click on the confirm tab, the high-security transaction password (OTP) is sent to your registered mobile number.
12. Enter the high-security transaction password (OTP).
13. Now, click on the “Confirm” tab.
14. A new page will appear showing Congrats, your State Bank of India account transfer request has been successfully submitted.
Notable Points
1. Using these facilities, the SBI branch transfer online time is between 08:00 am to 08:00 pm.
2. You must register for YONO Lite SBI App, YONO SBI App, and SBI internet banking.
3. You must know the branch code where you want to transfer your account.
4. Only savings bank accounts can be transferred to another branch online.

Final Thoughts
Your SBI savings account will be transferred to the new branch within a week. After transfer, your account number and the CIF remain the same. However, the IFSC code for the new branch will be different.
